The first two Town Hall Meetings (Klondike & Hackberry) hosted by Sheriff Johnson had in attendance other Parish Officials to update the public on the current affairs of each office and to answer questions.

In attendance were Tax Assessor Mona Kelley, District Attorney Cecil Sanners, Police Jurors, Terry Beard, Curtis Fountain and Dino Hicks. Sgt. Travis from Troop D was present at the Hackberry meeting, he gave a presentation and answered questions,   Sheriff Johnson gave a summary of the current Department Structure and Chief Deputy Chris Savoie and Supervisor Milton Collins gave a presentation on internet safety.

 

We will be announcing our dates for future Town Hall Meetings to be held in Johnson Bayou, Creole, and Grandlake . These meetings will be scheduled in the months of September thru October.
